Hello! I just passed my 6 month mark of building credit. My oldest account is a self lender loan that’s 6 months old, my next account is a green dot platinum secured card that is 4 months, and I have a discover it secured that’s 3 months old. My FICO score is 690. I was wanting to start building my credit card base but I have no idea where to begin or what I’d qualify for. Can anyone provide me some advice? Thanks in advance!
I would wait a while and build up a track record with the 2 cards you already have. Wait until your FICO 8 scores are at 700 or more across the board and then come back to us. Give thought to the type of card you would get the most use out of.

This.
Credit building is a marathon, not a sprint. I know people who have gone routes that include Credit One, but I found patience to work for me. I probably wouldn't do anything until your Disco graduates, hopefully at the 7 month mark. (I was in your shoes too and very antsy! Check out the garden as it may help you!)
