What constitutes a month of inactivity with chase?

I have 4 chase cards. I have a substantial balance on my freedom at 0%. I am making weekly payments on it to get it paid off before the promo rate runs out. I also have a marriott card that has a high credit limit but is useless to me. I ran up the 1000.00 to get to the bonus, paid it in full on April 14th. Last purchase made on the card was in march.  I want to close the card and transfer some or all of. The available credit to my freedom and slate.

so is a month with them from date of last purchase or date of last payment? I would like to do it ASAP before my statement closes again to reduce my utility on my slate and freedom.

I also have amazon with them.  Cut up at this point because I was becoming reliant on these cards.... The same actions that got me in credit trouble a number of years back and I am not going there again.

Date of last purchase.  They want to see activity where they make money as in transaction fees.

You're very welcome.  This issue comes up a lot.  What we recommend is that you set some monthly recurring charge, like Netflix, to the card and then set up autopay.  That way you don't have to worry about them closing a card due to inactivity.
