Hello,
I'm currently 21 and my credit score is EX 678 EX 643 TR 663 I have several inquiries and a paid CO, I currently have 6 credit cards in good standing but I have subprime lenders ( Credit One, Orchard, Cap One) and as many of you may know they don't give a lot of credit limit increases. Since my credit is getting better I want to close some of these accounts but want to know if there's a good credit card out there for someone in my situation. Thanks every one
Talk to your local CU. They are often more willing to work with people building and rebuilding credit.
You might also qualify for an Amex Zync, depending on how old the CO is.
The first two places I'd look at are either a bank you already bank with, or a local credit union.
It also depends on what you're looking for? Are you trying to get a rewards card, a card with a higher CL, lower APR, no AF..?

I had a student checking account from chase and I just converted it to a regular checking I would like a credit card with higher Cl, no annual fee and rewards program if i get a better credit limit.
It's always hard to get your first high CL, nobody really wants to be the first one to take a chance on you. (As I've been finding out this past year...)
The Freedom is obviously a good card and has the potential to grow to a high CL, although I'm not sure how they look at old baddies on your report.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you get a prime card - of any sorts - even if you start out with a low CL, at least you have the potential for it to grow in time. It's mainly the subprime cards that are permanently stuck where they are.

How old is that paid CO?
You having 6 CCs is great, just let it age, not grow as you mentioned.
What are your combined CL with those 6 cards?
A paid CO is great imo....it will allow you to recon and approved if declined by the computer.
I hope you have a strong income to support your higher CL.
But imo...get your score up to 680 across the board....pay off all your UTIL if you have any.
That's the quickest way to get your score higher if your util is over 35% imo.
The cards you mentioned (Cap One, Orchard, etc.) aren't going to grow with you and some have high fees. I'd pay your util down to <9% on only one CC and make sure the rest are reporting a zero balance. Then I'd talk w/your local CU(s) and see if you can get a cc w/them. Even if they start you out at a lower limit, you'll be able to get CLIs from them in the future.
I'm not sure how picky Amex Zync is w/COs. Maybe others here would be able to tell you from their experience. It is more of a starter CC w/Amex. It's a charge card, so you need to PIF each month, though.

You mentioned 2 EX scores...is one of them supposed to be EQ? Also are these FICO or FAKO scores?
