Hi everyone,
Last week, I was approve for my goal card, the Amex Platinum, earlier than expected. I was also approved for the Marriott Billiant card too. Now that I have reach the Amex, I do not see any other cards that will add any value to my collection of credit cards. Below are the cards I use the the most.
Online Shopping - BofA Custom Cash
Everyday Bills - PenFed Power Cash 2%
Groceries - Amex Gold
Dining - Amex Gold
Travel - Amex Platinum and Marriott Brilliant Amex
I welcome all feedback.
Starting Score: Equifax 499 (1/22/2020); TransUnion 525 (1/22/2020); Experian 523 (1/24/2020)

This is impossible to answer without knowing your spend (and your goals, although i assume MRs are good for you.) So if you spend 10K a month on Amazon, you would want one of the cards that rewards that highly. And if your fave airline/hotel isn't an easy MR transfer, that would create other suggestions
I do have the Amazon store card as well. Spending ramge from $5K - $10K per month. I most use American Airlines, but I figure the 5x points I get from Amex Travel can go further. I used to do mostly Hilton hotels, but I had a few bad experiences an changed to Marriott.
I do not do a lot of travel for work, but ai have some big trips coming up Tokyo, Dubai, and the Australia. My goal is to have at least on extended international trip and a few domestic trips.
I hope that helps.

You could look into a 5% revolving category card like Discover or Citi Custom Cash. I keep more than one around in that category.
Or you could periodically keep opening new cards with great SUB's. I had my house painted this year and had a $10k bill; I opened two new cards with large SUB's and made $1,500 in cash back on my $10k bill. I'm up to $2,500 on rewards points this year between all cards, and I wouldn't say I'm a particuarly heavy spender in any category.

I'm confused, if you see no value in additional cards, why are you asking about "next" card?
You're talking about travel, cards you added are travel cards, so what is it that you're looking for but seeing no value in 🤔

Amex EDP could take on your everyday bills and also get you 4.5% on groceries and 3% on gas.

I am asking because I do not know everything that is out there. Just because I can see something does not mean there isn't a card that could replace a card I am already using. I did not mean to come across blase.

If you're satisfied with what you have, then the best thing IMHO is to forget about applying for any more credit cards. Just take good care of the accounts you have.

Hey @Trin , you've got a pretty balanced portfolio now. You look in Good shape to me. I agree on gardening and growing what you've got... unless you've got some other hole you can fill... like 5% back at Lowes or branded rewards Visas or MC's that'll get you even more value if you shop at certain retailers.
I got my first 2 cash back cards about a year ago and I'm starting to think I've been a fool. I've got an account with $6 grand in it just from depositing cash rewards from business purchases. .. that mess is magical.
Oh wait, I've had the Discover It but only autopay utilities, and Navy Cash for Insurance autopay's. Those give me a few hundred bucks every few months.
Totally not "necessary" for you tho. You look like you've covered the bases.
