Disco for category spend
Paypal MC for daily driver spend thats non-category
Cycle Cap One and Best Buy through monthly bills just to keep active (BB is also my high limit emergency card if I need something big, never has happened)
Amazon/Wally for online shopping
Amex is just there. I like having an Amex card, but until I can get a Cash Magnet, its just filling up a slot in my wallet.
BP gas card is no longer useful as the PPMC has higher cashback, in fact thats pretty much true for all my cards. Disco/PPMC are pretty much all I really use besides "keeping it active" unless I wanna buy some shoes or something from Amazon/Target/Wally.

there are a lot of cashback card options depending on where and what you spend.
And it's not just a matter of understanding points, but of having a miles/points program (or a few) actually align with your needs.
Cards I mainly spend on: CFU, BBP, CSR...a lot on SPG Luxury lately with two offers (but little spend in the future without promos).
Moderate spend: CF, DC, Costco
More for perks: Platinum, Hyatt, IHG
Minimal spend: BCE, Discover, ED, Arrival, Aviator

I’m new so forgive me if there have already been topics like this before. But I would like to know out of all the credit cards you have which ones are you actually using, how often do you use them, and why or how does it benefit you? I look forward to the replies!
For me I’m just now starting out. So right now I’m only using my capital one quicksilver for the 1.5% rewards for any of my purchase that takes a credit card and just pay immediately or as soon as I can. I just make sure I show 1% utilization by the statement close date and zero balance by the due date. All my other store cards I don’t plan on using. Just have them for my total available credit.
AMEX BCE for 3% Cash Back on Groceries
Savor (No AF Grandfathered) for 4% Cash Back on Dining & Entertainment
USAA AMEX for 5% Cash Back on Gas
Freedom for 5% Cash Back in Quarterly Category
Discover for 5% Cash Back in Quarterly Category
Citi Double Cash for 2% General Spend
CSP for UR Points for business travel
PenFed PCR Sig Visa for 2% Cash back on Wireless Bill, Satellite Bill, Internet Bill
All others get use, but those above are for specie spend.
I'll add Freedom Unlimited for work travel "general spend" UR Points when I'm back under 5/24 & get it
Chase Trifecta, I love my UR's!
CSR,Freedom,Freedom Unlimited.
I am thinking of dipping my toes in the AMEX pool, I want to get the AMEX Platinum for the perks, and for a lesser talked about benefit the global assist. I do think if the Platinum get 1.5 on all swipes it would make a better general spend card.

Would you mind explaining how you qualify rent please? I've looked and don't see where it fits.
I have three cards with me at all times. AMEX Gold, CSP and Citi DC. The vast majority of my spending is on food or gas stations, that goes on the AMEX, CSP if AMEX isn't accepted and DC for anything else. I'm working my way down to a much smaller number of cards.
My new fave is a debit card, Square's Cash Card. 10% off at Wholefoods. See how long that lasts!
What do I currently use
Discover IT=currently on a 0% offer that ends shortly.. (and i was using Discover Deals =() usually put a reoccuring charge or two on it..
Citi DC=2% on everything but has a FTF
Chase Amazon=5% at Amazon, occasionally use it for Gas/Pharmacy when I dont want to use my, aLso use it as when needing a no FTF visa card online... Also use it at Costco sometimes since its Visa
Chase Freedom=Categories not covered by Discover. occasionally getting good offers....
Blispay is SD'ed but used when id like a 6mo no interest purchase..
CU Card=Been getting some decent offers lately that usually amount to 5% back on a 100$ purchase in a category.. but at 8.x APR its there if needed.. Passthrough FTF so it does occasionally get used for purchases...
Going to be changing some of my spend to an Amex CM if it would get here.. need to make the initial SUB..... then im hoping to see some Amex Offers and other such things from Amex... its only 1.5x but iv wanted an Amex to round out my wallet... plus it has a 15 mo 0% offer on purchases and BT which doesn't hurt either .. Will pick up where Discover left off =)
