I have a Capital One card with a $305 limit. I've requested a limit increase and they haven't approved it.
Should I just close the account? I don't put much on it.

send an email to the "Capital One CEO" (google will provide you with that email) leave your number for them to call you and ask them to product change you to quicksilver and give you a credit line increase to bring it to a standard your credit profile deserves... it will take a couple days and you iwll get an answer!
ask for no AF also if you pay one.
I had the same exact issue. $500 CapOne with no rewards and it was my oldest account. I would also recommend reaching out to their twitter or facebook if you have one. The EO called me the next day and "found" an offer for a Quicksilver. Dont bother with chat or their regular numbers.

Is this a secured card? if not, thats a weird limit.
I would wait at least a year before you close it. thats what I did.
