I traded in my feedom card for the SB card and in the short side of things I should have kept the freedom earning me 3% at top 3 things vs just 3% at SB. I use it exclusively for SB though so it's cool there and nice looking card but kind of blah having to set up a reload to the starbucks card vs visa to earn your full 3%.and I believe there have been people recently getting recon. on appications with old bk and getting approved.

I gave up Starbucks in order to justify spending money here, at myFico. Of course, this went out the window when I was on vacation. But c'mon, I was ON vacation!

What kind of drugs are they putting in the stuff? We've been discussing my dumping the Starbucks habit (in my defense, this has been a daily habit of atleast 7 YEARS!) a lot lately and I keep saying I will cut back or will stop buying them soon. I drove there late this morning to get my daily fix and looped through the parking lot and left...but as soon as I finish this message, I'm going back. So not only did it cost me the regular $4.31, but now a buck or so in gas too!I really should have app'ed for the Starbucks card instead of the PenFed & Chase I just picked up, because I'd probably get more in rewards. I wonder if Starbucks is considered for any of the categories on my Chase Freedom? Atleast I could get 3% from that. Probably not, though...
That's a good trade. Certainly more productive use of the $$$ than drinking it away! Everyone breaks the rules on vacation, so you're alright i think! Starbucks should have fine print all all their cups...

Disclaimer: Starbucks accepts no liability for bleeding your bank account dry due to the addictive nature of our products. Nor do we accept responsibilty for the additional 10lbs you will likely gain in your arse due to consumption of fancy named coffees filled with chocolate, caramel or whipped cream additives.

Back in my 'heavy drinking days' I drooled over that card. I remember having the application in my handbag just so I could be inspired by it -- better credit = better card. Now? Not so much. I'm aiming a little higher these days! LOL.

Haha. I am a victim of the iced mocha!! I tried the non-fat, blech! Not worth it. Maybe 2% wouldn't be so bad. Whipped cream is a must for me, I wish I didn't like it!Sorry I can't get you a free pass on your vacation...if I could I would!I just re-read a few posts up and maybe I'm not so bad off having my Chase Freedom as opposed to the Starbucks card, sounds like a real hassle. Though still not sure if it classifies in any of the categories. When they give you the statement it doesn't break down what the rewards are from, just gives a total....
