I've decided to use it more than I originally thought I would. Used it for groceries today. I'll have to go back and look to see how to get decent points out of it. Can't remember the rewards for it, other than the 20 uses each month for more points
I had EDP from 2015 to 2016. I used it often and hit 30 transactions most months. But when Costco dropped Amex, I didn't find it worthwhile to pay the AF and downgraded. I wasn't going to be spending enough to steer transactions away from CSP/Freedom/Discover or to bother with Amazon reloads, split grocery transactions, etc.
Now I use it very rarely and moved all the CL except for $1k to other cards.
I upgraded BCE to BCP over the summer for a targeted bonus. Before that, I had Discover and Freedom rotating categories. Sometimes I'd have a card that needed minimum spend. And I buy more groceries from Costco than supermarkets (at least, I did before corona).
With the BBP cap, ED is sometimes my rewards-maximizing card...but very rarely.
I just got my green card today and I charged
Rent -appx 900
Sephora - $170
Door Dash - $30
going forward it’ll be mostly 1x categories and some 3x categories ( restaurants drivevthru) until pandemic restrictions ease up. Green card doesn’t have grocery feature or I’d do that.
I was planning to get one just for BT

I put my gasoline, firearm/ammo, airline tickets, hotel and car rentals on the AMEX. I do it for the travel rewards. Because of this spend I can fly First Class. I fly to Hawaii virtually FREE!
I stupidly got the Everyday card for the 0 fee BT offer which I ended up not using cause I got some money and PIF the balance I wanted to transfer. I find myself using it fairly often since it's zero interest until next yr. At least 20x a mth to get the bonus. I put it in Apple Pay and use it for random charges when I'm out. Sometimes I put Amazon Fresh charges on the card and it comes in as 2 transactions - 1 for groceries, 2 for the tip. I don't touch actual money any more especially not now with coronavirus.

@Anonymous I almost got this card today! But decided since I qualify for the AMEX BBP I should probably do that instead.

Is AMEX okay with BT's? Or is it more of a love/hate relationship?

+1 on this
Not long enough relationship yet though.
Prior to all of this happening, I was using mine wherever I wasn't using my Gold to hit those 20 swipes a month (have switched to all cash back since COVID issues started) . My set up is pretty simple in both the cash back and MR realm right now. As most of my spend is dining/take out/travel, my Gold and Propel handle that. My Everyday and Quicksilver pick up everything else.
