Citi I believe is Fico 8 bankcard enhanced and therefore probably higher ..not sure what DCU is using but certainly another version.

i see. thanks!
DCU score is: *taken from ~ The many flavors of FICO...
"FICO 04 (introduced 2004)
Most mortgage lenders use FICO 04 for Equifax and Transunion, and FICO 98 for Experian.
All three scores will normally be pulled and the middle score (not the average) will be used by the lender.
Official name: Equifax FICO Score 5 (also known as Equifax Beacon 5.0)
Common name: EQ-04
Available directly to consumers: ~~ Some credit unions such as DCU provide it free each month to members.
Real-world score range: 334 to 818"
Right now I'm using myfico and CCT. As soon as my reports are 100% clean (June) I will cancel myfico and stick with CCT, since I'm on the $15 a month plan, and that works well with my budget. I live in CA and 90% of my pulls are EXP, so knowing how that report looks is pertinent.
CK for TU and EQ report data. I pull EX reports as needed.
I don't really worry over scores but I do get TU FICO 8's With Discover and Barclaycard, EX FICO 8 from AmEx, EQ FICO NG2 from PenFed and EX FICO 8 Bankcard from FNBO. If i want scores I'll pull from myFICO as needed.
@Anonymous wrote:Credit.com provides Experian data. But, like Credit Karma, the score is useless.
Not for those with creditors that use a VantageScore. People need to consider the relevance of any scoring model/CRA combo and not just FICO or FAKO. A given FICO score doesn't mean anything if a creditor/product uses a different FICO model/CRA.

Define "better". What are you specifically looking to accomplish?
Again, consider the relevance of a given model/CRA combo to a given creditor/product rather than assuming that one model is inherently better than another. Neither of those scores would be relevant to creditor/product using an EQ FICO 8 -- or any model that isn't the same as what is provided. If a creditor uses an EQ FICO 8 Bankcard then the Citi score is relevant. If a creditor uses an EQ FICO 5 then the DCU score would be relevant. Neither is better than the other -- or yet other FICO models using EQ data.
Forgot to mention that I love to have both scores Fico and Vantage3. I am using CreditKarma for TU and EQ reports and Credit for EX (limited report info) with Vantage3 scores and EX credit tracker for EX Fico and EX reports for 9.95$ / mo with the option of daily pulls if needed and insurance. If the 3B reports here would be less than 20$ I would sign up but the price is too high. The scores can be obtained from many CCC in the meantime. Score Watch (old product) does give EQ Fico scores but no reports or basically only 2 reports per year which is terrible.I am more interested in my reports. But free CreditKarma closes this gap.Nobody pulls EQ for me anyhow except when I apply for a Chase card with a double pull.
