What does a recon do ? I might have to do one with Discover Card Help!!!

 Hello All ,

I just applied for a Discover more card  today online and received a message that they are processing my app and will notify me in 30 days and I remember seeing here on forum , Discover usually don't approve you when you get that message , So I'm trying to think one step ahead, What does a recon do ?

i got that msg and was approved..a recon is normally where you call the creditor on the phone and they ask you some questions and you give reasons why you should be approved, or some write letters to have a reconsideration..

but recons do work, some people have had success on here, don't know about discover specifically but i know with other credit cards they have..
