What does your Amex Delta Gold look like?

When I got app'd for my card in September they were showing the basic, gold and plat deltas all with the clear background.  However I keep seeing advertisements for the solid gold color (not clear).  When I login to my account it displays the 'new' solid gold card, however mine is clear. 

I'm just curious what your card looks like and when it was issued.

Got mine early November last year and I still have the old semi-transparent design.  I think it looks really sharp!  The new design is ugly.  If they try to send me the new version I think I'll refuse to activate it and keep using the old one.

I'm with you, I like the clear better, but I'm curious if people are receiving the 'gold' card.

I would imagine they are, since that's the design that's online and in the TV commercials now.  The only place I see the old design anymore is in my wallet.

Unless of course you're looking in my wallet, or glove compartment, or sock drawer, or little cubby under the dash, or..  where I left it last.  I think it's in my wallet.

Yeah the design of mine is the semi-clear-

I also don't like the new design-

The AU card I ordered for my brother (in Feb) has the same semi clear design- so don't worry-

Got mine Feb 13th, and it is the Clear design.  I saw the solid design, though, over a year ago through one of my customers when I worked at a Car Rental company.  I think I prefer the clear design better, though.  I get lots of compliments on the card because it is "so cool."

I just converted from Skypoints to Delta Gold. I personally hate the clear card and wanted the solid gold one. I got the clear one just last week.

Hmm...so the consensus sems to be that they're still sending out the clear design.  I wonder why all their marketing materials only show the new one.

Here's something interesting.  I just received an email from American Express welcoming me and inviting me to join online card management (even though I already have).  It shows the clear design in the email, but when I log on, still the solid.
