Just start up a post called "I love AmEx" and you'll get adequate responses from the myFICO AmEx haters.

IMHO, people are overreacting about this whole AmEx thing. They've made a few changes due to financial difficulties, but they're still pretty much the best CCC out there. Again, IMHO.

I'll bite. They are psycho. We've pretty much agreed they don't like revolvers, yet today I get a promo from them in the mail. Checks to be used for balance transfers or for bills or 'special purchases' with a 1.99% APR through May 09. Definitely sending conflicting signals.

I love Amex, especially after reading the FHR program post on Flyertalk! I have only had my Gold+ for a month and a half, and I going to upgrade to Platinum.

I get email notifications sent to my phone but it does not show the entire subject line.

So what showed on my phone today was "American Express Appointment B"

I was like ...Is it an Appointment for FR?

When I checked the email through my computer the subject was "American Express Appointment Book only $2.97"

I think I've been reading too many threads on AMEX FRs. Oh, how I LOVE Amex! LOL
