What is easiest Chase visa to qualify for?

Would that be a Amazon visa or something different?

P.S. My sister just got a amazon visa approved today with a 580 score, and she has one unpaid collection on her credit. **bleep**? How is she able to get approved for a premium major credit card and I can't? My score is a 705 FICO, and that is after apping for a credit card(denied) and getting approved for a $30K car lease.I know my unpaid 6.5 year old collection($800 & cell phone company) is hurting me,and that collection was bought by a different collection company which in turn is reporting it on my credit file as being only 1.9 year old. Thankfully it does fall off in march. But how does a 580 score beat out a 705 score? I have one single credit card (Wells Fargo secured visa)on file which will be 1 year old as of next month. Never late and have been paid off in full, and have several student loans in good standing. My LUCKY sister does have a Chase auto loan.Do you think that was the deciding factor? I will say this.My sister can talk a drowning person into drinking a glass of water. She kept at it until finding that one rep who was sympathectic and was willing to extend her a credit card. That's a good one! Haven't heard that one before. Smiley Happy Maybe she should call and say she's you. Smiley Wink JK.

You have under 1 year with only 1 CC. Your sister may have a CA, but maybe she has more TLs and/or longer history.

In general, Freedom is one of the easier Chase cards to get. But by no means easy. Chase likes to see >700 scores, and at least 2 TLs reporting for a year or longer.

There must be more differences going on w/your sister's credit. Also, are 580 and 705 FICO or FAKO? Where did you get the scores? Unless they're true FICOs, they don't really give you much information.

My UTL is 2%.Called the back door number twice but after seeing her smiling baby face and the laughter which says....."I got approved and oh well you didn't" I will try and recon again tomorrow.Provided they don't run another inquirie. I see it really is ALL ABOUT which rep you speak to at the recon.

She has a few cars reporting on her credit history in good standing. That is the main difference. She makes Bill Clinton look like he has difficulty expressing an opinion. She talked her way into this card. The 580 is Fico. She basicly smooth talked her way into this card. Said it before but can't say it enough.I think she and the rep will soon be blood sisters. They talked about everything under the sun. They both hate the weather in florida, talked about men, talk about the importance of this election. Two seconds ago she told that she is ....get this........THE COMMUNICATOR!! Smiley MadSmiley Mad Mean while I have to wait till this collection falls off my credit in march. Can't even risk trying to pay it early because something might go wrong and don't want to shoot my self in the foot, again.Man EmbarassedI feel like a lepper because no one will touch me.Plus I'm a bit credit shy fearing I might waste an inquiry and still not get approved.

Re: What is easiest Chase visa to qualify for?

The Freedom is among the easiest to get, and the Disney card would also be up there. I'm guessing the Slate isn't difficult either, but people rarely talk about it. All of Chase's travel cards are much harder.

LOL!

Not laughing at you, MH, but you certainly have a way with words.  I've read the whole thread and was laughing so hard by the end - the way you've described it has given me quite the visual... Smiley Very Happy

Keep your chin up - when that collection drops off your reports next Spring you could likely get whatever you want, and with good limits, too. Smiley Happy

Join us in the garden thread and hold off for a little longer.  If you need inspiration and want to know what gardening (until the collection drops off) will do for you, search for tinuviel's thread about getting her new cards - that will inspire you.
