I have also used the concierge service when traveling, don't underestimate them they can be helpful.. Also usually the Siggys and WMCs are the top teir cards offered by a lot of banks so many people take pride in being offered one...
Just a higher tier visa. It carries a higher fee for the merchant.
Just got the signature card Chase Southwest, Is there a list of which merchants give discounts?
Chase refuses to upgrade my 3-year old, $6600 limit Freedom. But just the other day I got approved for a Sallie Mae WMC so I guess there's no more need for a "siggy".
I pay no AF on my Freedom siggy, or on my Quicksilver WMC.
