On an individual person bases, the best card is one that matches your normal spend
There is NO universal "best" card

Really depends on where you are in life.

For me as a college student that lives far from home. Amex is my favorite, Citi and Discover close behind

In 10 years, I'll probably say AMEX PR Plat or equivalent.

Re: What is the Best Credit Card to Have Overall?

I would say any of the cards i own.

I dont do a terrible lots of spend other then necessary utilities etc.

However, if I had to pick one, it would be any with the highest limits to keep my utility % down low.

my disco and BOA are tied right now lol.

Also the new cards to acheive the SUBs

In some very literal sense of the question, Centurion or JPMR.  If you have one or both of those, you're probably doing something right!

Centurion is a charge card, though.

Maybe something only marketed to oligarchs.
