And what kind of score do you need to get it? My EQ score is currently 682.
Any idea what your Experian report looks like? Score? AMEX pulls EX the vast majority of the time, so knowing where you are (inquiries/baddies/etc) on EX will be an asset to you.
Reckedhim- Amex rarely does recons, unless they are in the wrong or they found something on the CR that was inaccurate, then they'll recon. But if you have a 610 with 3-4 baddies, there pretty much is no chance of recon...lol. As for the easiest revolver to get, It is the Gold Delta, and all the charge cards have the same scoring/underwriting criteria except for the Platinum and Centurion.

I'm really tempted. Maybe I should wait a few weeks until the collection is removed from my account.
You'd be wise to wait if it's only a few weeks. AMEX isn't often fond of derogatory marks on a thin file, esp charge offs or collections.
Easiest charge card: any but the Platinum and Centurion
Easiest revolver: Delta Gold
Amex dislikes baddies and loves high income. I would make sure the collections account is dropped before applying.

I just got the 14day for delta. Does that mean denied?
Doesn't mean anything, it's normal, keep checking online and you'll see if your approved, sometimes you have to call to verify your ID over the phone and then your approved. Regardless Delta card is the worst damn airline card in the industry -_-; I wished you went for green =\
