The OP mentioned Capital One as a fast grower. I couldn't disagree more. I've had a card with them for 15 months that started with a $3k limit and I've received two whopping $500 CLI's at 6 months and 12 months bringing me to $4k. My income is fine, my average FICO score is in the 730's and I put at least $1000-$1500 through the card every month but always PIF or leave a few bucks as a balance at most.
Ditto. For many, Cap One is by far the slowest growing.
+1, it took me 4 1/2 years to grow from 750 to 7500 on my CO platinum (now it is QS), whereas it took 2 years to grow my amex bce from 2k to 32k and my discover from 750 to 33k.

My Bank of America cards and my Chase cards. Taking a HP is NOT bad. Some of you make it seem like it's a crime. Barely puts a dent in your scores unless your scores are low!
My capital one card is the slowest. I started with 500. It's now sitting at 3500 and that's combining two accounts. I just can't get that thing to grow. I give up but it's my oldest account. lol
