Synchrony has consistently reported my balance change multiple times a month. It makes it impossible for me to stay on top of the balance reported. Has anyone else ran across this issue? I've had my balance reported for my JcPenney card 3 times this month.
Synchrony may update if you change income, add users and sometimes, even adding a new phone number or address could trigger an update.
I believe I could understand that; however, none of those things have occured for me. They have done it every month I've had their cards. No changes have been made on my part at all. Just found it odd. They are the only bank to report my balance more than once a month. It seems to be everytime I make a new purchase.
May or may not have any relevance, but for some reason, Synchrony reported my new PayPal 2% MC twice to Experian this month, first on July 2 and then on July 18.

Yes, that is what is happening to my JcPenney. It hasn't happened to my other Sync cards just Penney's my PP2% has reported the same day each month, the same for my Walmart and Amazon. I've just had a look. I wonder if it is something they do when you have multiple cards with them.
Interesting.....my JCP card and Chevron card only report once a month after statement cut. It does not matter what other activity I have during the billing period. However I have heard on here, from other posts that they do report multiple times per month for some account holders.

Many of my Sync cards will wait til I h as ve a balance . I can't make a payment until its posts and by that time they report it to the bureau. It can be frustrating. You may not want anything reporting but never works out that way, especially on my Smazon.
Yes Joe, I think that's what it is doing with me. Reporting the balance before it's even available for me to pay on it. It is very frustrating. However, it is only doing this on my JcPenney's card. I wonder if this will be the trend for this card for the entirety of my owning it.
I first got my Amazon store card to finance a new computer purchase. The PC was ~1300 and the limit was 1500. I was going to pay down a large chunk of it when it posted so no biggie, right? Wrong. Sync reported the $1300 balance what seemed like immediately.
