As of Jan 9 2012, my goal is only 8 credit cards. I dont want to get over 10 credit cards because I think it is not a good idea to have over 10 credit cards. How about you guys?
Amex blue-------------------------$25.400 (appled because It gave me a lot of points, my Amex major card now)
Amex delta-------------------------$9,000 (applied for fun, rarely use it)
BoA Plantinum Plus-------------$4,000 (because this card provides overdraft with my bank of america)
Chase Freedom Visa----------- $22,500 (I really love this card, my Visa major card now)
Citi Dividend Master Card-----$7,800 ( got bonus, my Master major card now)
Discocver More------------------$8,000 (great with their program bonus mall, my Discover major card now)
Walmart Discover---------------$700 (just to see my FICO score, dont want to use this card)
Welfargo Visa---------------------$1,500 (because this card provides overdraft with my bank Wellfargo)
So far, I have Visa, Master, Amex, Discover in my wallet. I can go anywhere with my wallet. I am very happy about these cards. These cards are very excellent, and they are my 4 major card. I have received a lot of bonus, cash back from these cards. I really dont know what cards should I get from now on? I think I will increase these credit lines . What card will you suggest for me to apply after these cards? How about you?
All in Siggie below. And believe it or not, I'm thinking about gettting a Discover and a CitiBank MC/Visa

What did you have to do to get an AmEx limit over $25k? Seems like that's the limit without getting the spanish inquisition.
To answer your question:
AmEx BCP $19.3k
USAA World MC $14k
Discover More $4k
BofA Visa Sig $5k
Target $2.5k
Is well fargo your oldest account? Why do you still keep it?
From oldest to newest, I have
1. Capital Bank MD $3025
2. Amex Zync NPSL
3. FIA fidelity Amex $3000
4. Chase Freedom $1000
5. Barclay Itunes $500
6. Barclay Travelocity $3000
7. Chase AARP $3000
Mine are in signature )
Highest to lowest:
1. UIECU UIAA Rewards Visa $22K
2. PSECU PSL/Visa $20K
3. Alliant Platinum Rewards Visa $15K
4. Barclaycard Travel Rewards MC $7K
5. Nordstrom Visa Signature $6K
6. State Farm Platinum Rewards Visa $3K

Amex Blue Cash Every Day ------------------2,500
Alliant CC Visa (No rewards version)-----2,000
Shell Gas Card----------------------------------- 400
Barclay's Apple: $2000
Cap1 Platinum: $500
Cap1 Cash Back: $500
Total Limit: $3000
By Spring my Cap1 Cash Back should go up to $750 and I'm hoping Barclay's will up me to $2500. That would put me at $3,750 in total credit.
$7600 total, 4 credit cards + 1 charge card:
- Orchard Bank................................. $600 (closing this year)
- Capital One Platinum....................$2000
- Banana Republic Visa................. $3000
- Chase Freedom..............................$2000
- Amex Zync.......................................NPSL
I regret opening the Capital One card. My oldest card (closed now) is from 2002, so adding a bunch of cards really hurt my AAoA.
