I am very proud of my crop right now. I will be 21 next month and I think I am doing pretty good for my age.

Capital One Platinum MC - CL $500 - 9/10

Amazon Store Card - CL $1200 - 5/11

Care Credit - CL $2000 - 9/11

And in the last two days I was approved for;

Capital One Cash Rewards MC - CL $3,000

Citi Forward - CL $2,500

Total Credit Line - $9,200

I currently have balances totaling $991 which will put my UTL at 11%   Smiley Happy Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

I had to share. I was approved for the Citi card about 20 minutes ago so I'm still very excited!

Re: What is your credit line? how many CC do u have? Why did you apply your cards?

I'm in rebuilding mode. Below is my current collection:

  • Cap1 Visa Platinum - 6400 CL (oldest card, highest CL)
  • Cap1 NHCR MC - 750 CL (rebuilder card, was my first rewards card, cash back)
  • Dillard's Amex - 4200 CL (I shop at Dillard's, I like the rewards)
  • JC Penney - 1800 CL (I shop at JCP, I like the rewards)
  • Kay Jewelers - 5100 CL (not a big spender on jewelry, but I heard that they tend to give high CLs; acts like "ballast," which Webster's defines as: "a heavy substance placed in such a way as to improve stability and control" -- thus, the high CL relative to my other lines helps to stabilize my overall util.)
  • Amex Green - NPSL  (it's Amex! and, it backdated to 1987!)

(Edited to add reasons for each card)

JaysonT is like chuck norris.

He doesn't need a FICO to get a card, the cards have to meet his requirements for him to accept them Smiley Happy

+1. While having 6-figures worth of credit at my disposal would be nice, getting enough cards to get limits that high would be far too many cards to juggle for me, but impressive for those who can pull it off. I hope to get in the 5-figure limits with each of my cards by the end of the year:

American Express TrueEarnings - $3000 CL

Discover Escape - $5500 CL

Capital One Cash Rewards - $7500 CL
