But with the no interest until Feb 2017, then 13.99 after. Plus the card looks cool. My 2nd would be the IHG only because I was denied and it took a week of recon's to get it! As far as trophy churning...ED/PRG combo. I can ditch the PRG and keep the points with no annual fee!
I am kind of upset as I need another bonus to churn, and I def don't want a denial....kinda hoping cap1 EO was being honest when he said I would be blown away with the new product that is coming out this fall...
What's that? I'd love for Capital One to come out with an awesome new card. They really seem to have the pulse these days on what we here at myFICO love, high CL, good CLI, combining limits, rarely AA, etc. I'll be first in line if they come out with something cool!
Well since their QS is already 1.5% cash back and that seems to be about the amount most issuers are willing to give out straight away (even DC makes you go through a bit of hoops for 2%), I would think they are either coming out with a category card or a "real" travel card

A new Capital One product? I may be interested in this.

Or a straight 2% card.

The guy in EO was kinda cool. I complimented on how easy the rewarding was compared to other issuers. But I did wish they did not pull 3 bureaus, and had a new card.
Come to think of it, based on what we discussed, I am guessing it would be a category card that could switch back to a general spend card if desired. I just want more options for utilities, rail travel, and pharmacies (as basically every walmart/target I shop at is coded as drug store)....I really cant complain though!
He did defend their triple pull...basically that after the recession they do not hand out big limits (ha whatever) and that capital one will advocate more for consumers in times of need....because of this, a triple pull is needed for their decision... um ok whatever, u can hard pull one and still look at the other two via SP...DUH!

Unless it's 2% on all general spend, 5% on choosable categories I think i'll pass. Unless there is a juicy bonus like on the Spark Cash recently, or previous Venture bonuses.
I doubt 2% on everything plus 5% on categories is gonna happen, but it would be awesome if it did!
When I applied for the Ink Plus last April. I did so thinking that I wouldn't get approved and surprisingly I did. The card generates the most points out of all of my cards for me. So definitely happy with that

Chase Marriott for sure. I love Marriotts and pretty much stay there whenever I'm on a trip and I didn't think I would even get approved because they gave me a hard time with the Freedom.
Marriott card is a keeper for sure for someone who travels at least once a year. (podunkville, kansas need not apply.)
