Probably PenFed. Cash-back deposited into your account automatically.
Barclay travelocity amex. I decide to go on domestic vacation at least 2 times/year and fly back and forth to visit my family once or twice a year so this is the best card to get for travelling coach.
I should dream bigger: Amex Black, where the bill goes to someone else.

My good friend has the centurion black. I want this card!! Hopefully in 5yrs.
One of my friends had it and cancelled once he stopped traveling so much. Didn't feel the fee was worth it and converted to another Amex product.
I'm still figuring out how to send the bill to someone else, LOL!

Just be an AU.
As pathetic as it sounds, my HSBC 2% rewards card is the best card I've got.
I like getting paid to use my card.
My ultimate card doesn't exist. If it did, it would combine features of cards that I have or would like to have, including:
5% back on dining and entertainment (Citi Forward)
2% back on gas and groceries (Cap1 No Hassle Cash Rewards)
1% back on everything else AND with every purchase, make a small (fractional percent) donation in support of my alum association (BoA Platinum Plus affinity card)
0% APR for 21 months (Citi Diamond)
Savings on travel bookings (Amex Green)
$0 AF (all of the above except the Amex Green and my version of the Cap1)
Must be a Visa or MC -- NOT an Amex or Discover, so that you can be assured that it will be accepted everywhere and -- in the case of Amex -- also not have to worry about doing something that might trigger a FR.
Now THAT'S a card that would do it all for me!!! It's also why I've come to realize that it's not enough to have just one card, not if you want to play the rewards game. But if they did come up with such a card, I'd be all over it!

My past is too checkered for politics.
