I've looked at CapitalOne and HSBC too (I'm pretty much in the same FICO range as you) but I think it'd be hard to pull off getting either without an annual fee (not worth it to me). I did just recently apply for the Target card figuring I could at least get approved for that...and even if the limit was tiny it'd at least help my average age later on...was denied. I'd love to find out if there are other somewhat easy cards to get with this score with no AF, but am somewhat resigned to waiting it out.
