Re: What next??

Doesn't Penfed offer the best gas card deal out there?  I think you already have a great portfolio, you dont really need a gas card which usually start with very low limits.  Just my 2 cents.

Re: What next??

I think with you profile you can probably qualify for all the good cards out there. Penfed has the cash reward card that gives 5% back for gas, which is the most you can get out there. Then there are AMEX Blue cash preferred and BoA 123 card that gives 3% back at the pump. Chase also has the BP credit gard, you get 5% back at BP station, 2% dining and travel. Those are some that I could think of.

Re: What next??

FYI the BP card rewards are being devalued starting March 2012 so its no longer a good option.

Re: What next??

If it is all about Gas then I believe other poster is correct that PenFed has a 5% or something on gas.  If you are looking for an all around card to turn into primary use card, most offer 3% on gas, 2% on some other thing cat. and 1% on all else.

Re: What next??

The Fort Knox card is great for gas, along with 1.25% on everything else.

Congrats on what you have accomplished! If you don't mind me asking when did you buy the home, who you got the mortgage through and who did you refinance with recently?

Regarding your question I would recommend the PenFed Cash Rewards Card since it has 5% rebate on gas purchases

Interesting that the same Bank who originated the mortgage refinanced it later. I hope to refinance my mortgage in a year. How many inquiries did you end up with shopping for the refinance?
