Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
More credit is ALWAYS better, so put in for EVERYTHING you come across because the worst that can happen is they say NO!
Put in lots of applications right before you apply for a mortgage. This way the lender can see that this is 'not your first rodeo.'
Keep your cards charged up near max so lenders will see that you actively use your available credit.
If a friend shows irresponsible spending habits, give him one of your cards to learn with.
Once you are aproved for one premium card, apply for every other premium card you have ever been interested in, rapid fire. That is exactly what I did . So many unessisary HPs and rejections.

Rapid Fire could be the name of a TV show where contestants have to apply for as many cards as they can in under 60 seconds, or who can get 10 approvals the quickest, etc.

Why would you want only one mortgage? More is better as you say!
