Re: What not to do

Open an Amex platinum even though it serves no purpose for your spending/travel habits, gotta look cool when you go on those tinder dates.

Join 23 loyalty program and get each programs credit card, spreading your earnings across so many programs that you never have enough points with one program to do anything. Less vacation means more work. And more work means more money! Then you can pay off the AF for that platinum card you're not using.

Get the visa black card, cause it's black... And cool.

So if I can get this straight and this is coming from a newcomer??? When we post questions on here in the forum, we are actually being made fun of??? I can see it through this entire thread. I am a newcomer, and I have not done half of what was said on this thread. I DO NOT bounce checks. I actually paid three of my accounts yesterday with my debit cards. Also the stores that I have applied are stores that I have also shopped at. From one new comer, this thread is very insulting because everyone does not do the same thing. I am just stating my opinion.

don't panic ashby....  most of them are giggling about things they have done early in their profile. it's all in good taste... don't read to much into it.. just take from it "what helps you in your journey" and leave them to have some fun.

rare to be able to have a little fun here... you know...         :]

I agree. My response to apply to First Premiere was something my dumbass did. Smiley Very Happy

More credit is ALWAYS better, so put in for EVERYTHING you come across because the worst that can happen is they say NO!

Put in lots of applications right before you apply for a mortgage. This way the lender can see that this is 'not your first rodeo.'

Why would you want only one mortgage?  More is better as you say!

He's right. Two is one, and one is none. So if you want two 'real' mortages, then you best get three of them.
