Re: What's in your sock drawer?

everything but freedom card. I only carry one card in my wallet just so I dont have to worry much if I loose it. But the 5% is nice. If amex would ever let me get anything other than the platinum or hilton honors (like every day or bce) I would switch to them. But whatever, I think they are all about to get axed, im sick of amex.

Re: What's in your sock drawer?

Lots of cards in my sock drawer. Among them - Chase United Explorer (I have the Club card), Amex Hilton Surpass, Wells Fargo platinum visa ( have had it forever), Amex SPG (thought I'd use it more), San Francisco Federal Credit Union visa ( got it for low interest rate), Penfed Promise visa (got it for low interest rate), Citi Simplicity (got it for 0% promo which is still in effect - I just use my BOA card which also has a 0% intro promo right now.

Re: What's in your sock drawer?

CapOne--I have 2 of these in my SD. One has no rewards but I haven't cancelled it since they always wave the AF for me and it has a 5k limit and they send me offers for 0% which I sometimes like to take advantage of. The other one is quicksilver at 1.5% on everything but I'm getting 2% on everything from Discover through a targeted promo.

Barclays--The rewards are beaten on every category by other cards atm. When my TD promo expires I may use it for the 2% utilities. I did take advantage of their 0% offer recently for some extra investment money but the card is currently in SD.

Duck card--have some balance on there at 0% promo intro, no ther good use for it atm.

Store cards Amazon--I give it a whirl every couple months but rarely use it. Just can't bring myself to cancel it. Kohls--Rarely shop there, just my gf once in a while

Re: What's in your sock drawer?

NFCU goRewards - I actually use this card for 0% BTs, which are offered frequently.  But not for purchases.

USAA rewards - $4.5k CL, but I have better rewards cards, so I just use this as a LOC linked to my checking account.

Military STAR - $6.5k CL.  This is a store card.  I don't really use it unless there is 10+ cents per gallon off fuel purchases promotion.

EX:694 TU:744 EQ:777
Amex ED $19.5k - BoA Travel Rewards $15k - CSP $5k - SDFCU EMV $15k - NFCU goRewards $20k - Barclays Arrival $6.5k

Re: What's in your sock drawer?

1) Barclays NFL - my highest APR and lowest reward (1%) card. I moved most of the limit to my Arrival anyway.

2) Chase Southwest Plus - Just got my Chase Southwest Premier for the companion pass

3) Discover It - Useless quarter to me

4) CapOne Quicksilver - 1.5% is OK. But I have better reward card for non category spend (Club Carlson Premier), and I am busy meeting minimum spend requirement for my 4 new cards lol.

AAoA 2 years back to the garden...
Amex PRG NPSL | Chase Southwest $9K | Chase Sapphire Preferred 11.2K | Chase IHG $5K | Freedom $6.5K | Club Carlson 9K | Barclay Arrival 4K | Barclays Aviator Red 13.5K | Citi Premier 5K | Citi AAdvantage 4.8K | Discover It $6.5K | Cap1Quicksilver $4.75K

Re: What's in your sock drawer?

All of the Cards you see in my siggy outside of:

- AMEX PRG, My Everyday Card

- AMEX BCE, My Mom and Daughters Everyday Card (AU's)

- Cap One QuickSilver, Auto Bill Pay Card

- OCCU Duck Card, BT ONLY Card, Techinically its in the SD too, but it is carrying a remaining 3K of a 6K BT.

.....as well as my Chase Amtrak and Amzon Visa cards haven't been used in over 2 years.. I may charge something to the Amtrak soon, to keep it open as it has a 10K CL and don't want to lose the TL. Amzon only has a 2K limit that never got CLI since opening, and very little use.. For Amazon I get better use out of the GE Store Card and using my PRG. Getting Chase to PC Partner Cards is next to impossible from what I've expreineced.
