The HNB Voice 3% categories are many and it will help from having to switch every 3 months to another one.
This is what I like about this forum. I have fairly easy access to huntington bank. But this product would be perfect for my friend. Card looks cool too. Can non huntington people get it too?

btw, what is so good about Venture?
If $1 = 2 miles, 1 miles gives you 1 cent off on travel, that's $1 = 2 cents. Isn't that just 2% cash back? Did I miss something?
Probably the larger than deserved limits being given out. I guess I missed the boat on that one as all I got was 10K with 750's across the board a couple years back.
OK I see. I personally don't see the need to pay AF for larger CL. Citi DC would be a better 2% for me...

1. Golden1 CU Platinum Rewards for 3% on gas, groceries & restaurant
^ Just wondering this one, why not get an AARP Resturant combining with your Sallie M for better rewards on these?
I'm actually blacklisted from Chase at the moment, however I had a recent chat with them and I feel like they'll give me a shot once my baddies drop off.
The Golden1 card is better than the AARP card though. Golden 1 is 3% on gas, groceries & restaurant. AARP is only on cas & restaurant. The 3% on groceries could be a backup to the SM card.
Honestly, I like the Golden1 card because I like finding cards off the beaten path that offer great rewards - it's fun getting stuff that not everyone has. I wouldn't actually use it or the AARP card because I already have a card that covers those categories better. The Security Service FCU Power Travel Rewards offers 3% + 10% so 3.3% on gas, travel & dining.

And i'd close it if they hadn't permanently removed the AF for me when I did an auto loan through them. Double Cash and Prestige are my daily drivers when not meeting a spend bonus.

Great info. Didn't know this before!
Does it require you to rotate catagory every season? If not, this would be my choice for 3% travel since some of you said AARP Travel is not there now.
1) Double Cash, January 2016 (if my EQ score is 680+ by that point). Terrific general spending card, especially since I will have merged my Venture limit with my Quicksilver by then.
2) U.S. Bank Cash+, January 2016 (if my TU score is 720+ by that point.) Going to be used for fast food and cell phone bill, primarily.
3) Better Balance Rewards #2, April 2016 (if the card is still around by then). Going to be used to get an additional $120 a year from minimal spending.
4) Wells Fargo Propel World Amex, January 2017. With the banking relationship bonus, it's a pretty useful card for when I am not staying at a Wyndham or Marriott hotel. It's also got a nice sign up bonus, and it's hella sexy.

You have the CHOICE to rotate to whichever of the several different categories that you select every 3 months. But like i said unless they've changed things it was required to be in their footprint. Per categories here is what they list, show, and have.

Fideltiy Amex
CSP
Lowe's
Nordstrom's
Neiman's
And upgrade some of my store cards to Visa or M/C.
And that's not going to happen for another 17 months right after I get my new M3 or 4?
Might get rid of some of my older cards that I feel aren't working for me also.

The Huntington Voice card has been on my wishlist for ages. It's the only card I'd actually want to app for right now, but alas, California is not in their footprint.
