After Discover discontinued Price Protection, I've been looking towards finding another card with this benefit. I've been gardening for about 6 months (Having to wait longer as a student loan just began to report) and I've been looking at the Uber Visa, Citi DC/ Paypal 2%. I haven't seen much evidence showing that the Uber has price protection but i know both the DC and Paypal 2% come with it. Reading more into this, I haven't heard much about the price protection process of the paypal 2% but the Citi DC sounds as if it may be getting more difficult to even use the program. Which price protection program is better between the Citi DC and Paypal 2% and does the Uber Visa even come with price protection?

Citi is definitely not as good as it used to be in this respect, but it is still probably the best overall.
It offers automated searches, an efficient way to monitor many claims, no limit on the number of claims, and it doesn't exclude too many items.
Citi Price Rewind is ridiculously easy to use, and I've earned a decent amount of refunded money from it.
Thanks. Been holding on the Citi DC because of this specific perk and I'm hoping the longer I garden, the higher my SL will be.

Are there any other Citi cards that interest you...something with a nice bonus? Citi is pretty flexible with PCs. Sometimes it can make sense to apply for an AF card with a nice bonus and then PC after a year or two. My DC was once a Prestige. My Costco card was once an AA Platinum.
Costco has the same Price Rewind terms as DC: 60 days, $200 maximum per claim, $1,000 maximum per account per calendar year.
Besides the Citi ThankYou Preferred Card for Students, I don't think any other Citi card would be a good fit for me as I'm a student and can only reliably hit cards with low signup bonuses

AFAIK they offer Price Rewind on every card, but definitely double check me on that
