What's up with GE reporting?

Ugh, they are really starting to grind my gears.

I just got the PayPal Extras MC last month. In that time, GE has reported my balance to the bureaus 3 times!! 

Got the card 5/5, reported 5/12, statement closed/reported 5/23, and reported yet again today 6/13. I'm fully expecting them to report again when my statement closes next week.

What gives? This is really going to screw up my utilization if they report whenever they feel like.

Hmmm...got quite a few of GE cards and never had that happen.   Looks like you have a gremlin behind the scenes pushing your buttons .

Hmm, lets see. The 5/5 and 5/23 are normal for them. The mid cycle reporting can happen if you've one anything to modify our contact information. Address, phone req an AU - anything.

The only thing I can think of is that the 5/12 and 6/13 dates were shortly after they froze my account for a fraud alert *shrug*

This happened to my eBay MC, too (same thing as the PayPal). First time it reported a balance and then two days later reported a different balance. I had an AU added to my card for a $30 statement credit (I think that was the amount, anyway) and it didn't report on his CR until the second time the card reported. This month it's only reported once (so far).
