Freedom will see some action too because this is the only other quarter where using it is not a chore for me.
Yes, when I bring up Sansung Pay, I have to remind myself to use Freedom and not AR (once I got the Chase Pay not working issue fixed!)
Well when I'm not meeting minimum spend these are what I will use/carry:
Savor - 4% back on restaurants and entertainment
Altitude Reserve - 4.5% back on Apple Pay, 1.5% back on all other spend.
So essentially I plan to carry only 2 cards for simplicity. I have multiple 2% cards that I could use for higher spend but I'll rather stick to a 2 card system (wallet wise anyways) going forward.
@BronzeTrader wrote:This has to be the Citi DC with 2x TY points earning. It is even better since it is a personal card and more places accepted. The DC beats out Chase CFU and all other non-category cards.
My next one is BA PR with its 1.5x1.75 = 2.625% CB earning.
This is interested with the DC. I'm curious if this would pair well with the Citi Rewards+ because I do have both cards.
Mainly Amex Gold and Amex Blue Business.
BECU Cash Back VISA: 1.5% cash back on everything, $5.00 reward increments. Some banks offer a higher percentage cash back reward for their credit cards, but I don't like the "too big to fail" banks.
Anything MR.
BofA Travel Rewards @ 2.62%

Have you considered the Premium Rewards to be able to get that in cash though? Just wondering. I compared those two and pros and cons both ways. From my understanding, TR has no AF but much lower cash redemption than 2.625 potential of PR. PR has AF (but offsets to completely cover if you use it) and flexibility in redemption. Do you feel BofA travel redemption through their portal are good deals?

This is why I'm going to cheat and say my daily drivers are Altitude Reserve (once Freedom is finished) and BofA PR when Samsung Pay is not accepted. The ease of redemptions and the fact it's cash where you're not required to focus on using it for travel purchases or use the portal feels best. My guess is the AF and/or somewhat high UW standards for the card are the reasons why
