this is really weird... she hasn't had a cap1 card ever before this one, this is her only one... and its 3 months old, and hasn't been late... wweeeiirrdd..
There have been two other people tat posted that they got the 60 day late message as well when trying for CLIs with CapOne. Must be some weird glitch going on with their decline notifications. Very strange
Normally cli's come every 90 days for Cap one. I'd give it 30 more days and try again.
OP, please edit her name out of your post.
The same here. Applied for CLI on my Venture and Quicksilver (after third statements) and was given the exact same response as OP's. Haven't been late. I'm carrying zero balances on both of these cards, but do use them during the month just PIF before the statements cut. May have to send an email to EO if this issue doesn't resolve itself.
Got this on most recent CLI denial.. Never seen it before.. System glitch?

Seems like the threads have rolled off the first page but a site restricted Google search and Google's date fiintering easily finds some of them:

Count me as another one that got the "One of your Capital One accounts was recently 60 days or more past due." They also claim I have another delinquency on my credit report... And I am obsessive about not having ANY lates since my BK in 2009.
This happened to me earlier in the year when I request a CLI on my QS1. Contacted EO, they looked into it, and gave me an increase.
Although... My util is a little higher right now because of Christmas, so I may not push hard for a CLI. Maybe will just push to roll the Platinim into the QS1 and get rid of the annual fee for a card that I almost never use!

Most likely not going to be able to combine the CL's either with this little bug they appear to be having as accounts must be in good standing. Not saying yours isn't, but showing a recent 60+ day late as I got among others will most likely put that at a halt until they figure out the issue that is causing this for people including myself.
