Hello,
I was wondering what I should do with my AMEX DG. It is a $2,000 Limit. I'm debating on keeping it or not. My wife and I only travel about once a year and when I do, I use my Capital One Venture. AMEX refuses to give me a CLI for whatever reason and I have had it for going on 2 years now. Should I close it or what? AMEX sends me lower APR mailers and stuff like that for the card all of the time. Thanks!
If you're not getting use out of it and you don't want it than I would just cut my losses and say bye! If you have other Amex cards though you can transfer all but $1000 of the CL to another Amex card.
If there is no AF then I would say keep it and let it age. I can help you in future. If there is an AF then you should consider do a CL transfer and close it out. If you decide in future you want to come back. Amex is always good letting their valued customers back into their club.
So, I opened a BCE and would like to move my limit to it and close the Delta, however the CSR said I can only move $900 of the limit over to the BCE. Is there anyway around this?

You could login and try this link, if it still works: https://online.americanexpress.com/myca/linereallocation/us/ssr.do?request_type=authreg_LineRealloca...

Well it let me move a $1000 to it. I'm not sure if theres a back door number or what.
Well I finally got a response and they told me that I can only have one reallocation at a time for $1000 every 30 days. So should I just close the DG card, now with a $1000 limit?
I would.
