What to do with Kroger card?

A few months ago I was approved for US Bank Kroger card. I haven't used it too much, but I'm being transferred to Southern California where they don't have stores. Does anybody know how US Bank is with doing PC on this card? I was thinking of asking them to switch it to Ralphs rather than closing it. I also have a Marathon card from Comenity that will probably be useless. Any input is appreciated!!

Kroger and ralphs belong to the same company. If I'm not wrong, the cards are inter-usable and you get the same promotions?

I think you can call to ask right away.

I always see kroger gift cards and credit apps in ralphs stores. Sometimes the store brands are also kroger.

Vons, Pavillions and Safeway are the same company and all their rewards / prices / promotions seem to be the same, so hopefully that's the case for Krogers.

Some supermarket companies like to rebrand in different cities / states so it gets confusing sometimes.

I believe I know what you can do with a Kroger card, but I don't think it would qualify as friendly or supportive, so I must pass...

Agree ... the Kroger card earns rewards at the " Kroger Family of Stores", so that will include Ralphs and should include Food 4 Less as well.

I'm pretty sure any of the Kroger's rewards programs are interchangeable at any of the stores owned by Kroger.   I have a Ralphs rewards card and I was able to scan it for discounts at Fry's the last time I was in AZ.   I'm pretty sure all else is interchangable.

As for Marathon, there are none out here in SoCal.

Thanks Sunrise.  I guess I'll hold onto it in that case.

It's too bad about Marathon, they send me $25 gift cards every few months and I rarely use the card as it is.  It also has a low APR by gas card standards.  I'll probably close it.
