What to do with citi executive card

I got in on the 100k mile offer and my annual fee is due in a few months. I no longer want this card and it is my only citi card. Should I just close it or pc it to something else?

Keep and pay annual fee until the balance of such fees matches sign-up bonus.

If you are at a high exposure with Citi, call and have them reduce the limit to the lowest allowable. Then cancel the card when the AF is due. If another good Citi offer comes up this will free up credit in Citi's internal systems.

I would never CL decrease myself IMO. In most cases if you are defined a credit card for having too much credit, some banks will let you transfer some of your credit line to open the new card.

That may work for you but if you are a "churner" like i am, it yields the best results with Citi.

the CL is 10.5k and this is my only citi card .. i do not want to keep this card with a 450 fee .. what can i pc it to that doesnt have a fee .. double cash ?

i also have an amex blue .. with a 15k CL and a everyday preferred .. i want to close the blue but i am waiting to transfer the CL from the blue to the preferred ...

why don't you close decrease your CLs .. i have a discover as well that i will close soon and that is a 10k CL
