So I am now in good graces with GE capital...approved for amazon, lowes, and banana all in 3 days.
Going to garden now...but question...
What is the best way to get the lowes and the banana credit limits increased ? PIF ? Carry a Bal ?
The banana limit is 400.00
The lowes limit is 500.00
I already called and asked for an increase on the banana got a NO, but when I called and asked for increased on amazon, I get my CL doubled (from 900 to 1800)
Have a small balance post when statement closes and pay off before due date to avoid interest. After the fourth statement try online or call GECRB credit solutions from the backdoor numbers.
Ok...thank you... if I try online how do I know if its a SP or HP ?
With my lowes...they gave me a measley limit $600 something I believe). I called & told them I just got a house & needed appliances. Their limit would never do.
BAM! 10k
It was within 2 days of approval & they used the same report.
One more thing...if you have pets, I highly suggest calling them & asking for the Care Credit card. Same GE backer & they already love ya.
Care credit is accepted at nearly every veterinarian, not to mention eye docs, & many dentists for you too. 0% int when paid by either 3, 6, 9, 12 or 24 month timeframes depending on how much your charge is. I've had it 7 years & have never paid one dime in interest. 18k limit to boot!
(not to sound like a commercial, but I had just shown all this to my neighbor yesterday)
Great card & you'd get easy approval.
Denied for carecredit...oh well...I think I might have asked for too much $ ..I asked for 3k and I do have a 4.5 yr old bk on my report.
So time to garden for two years

Online is SP for the most part with GE. I think the only exception is CareCredit.
Also most furniture stores backed by GE. Example Rooms to Go.
