Re: What was your first card?

I was a teenager at college and some guy had a table set up in the grass offering free gifts in exchange for applying for a Chase card. I don't even what gift I got, but I remember coming home from school for Christmas break and the card was in my parent's mailbox with a $500 limit.

Re: What was your first card?

Mine was a Discover Card with a $900 limit.   I abused it through undergrad and then joined the Army.   I had a Cap One card too with a $500 limit.   When USAA gave me a World Mastercard I figured I didn't need to mess with Discover and Cap One and closed them both.   Definitely stupid of me.

Re: What was your first card?

My first was a Chase Visa card in '89. Had to have my mom co-sign since I was still in college. I needed it to pay for an outside wooden swing for the porch of my dorm. It was the previous seniors' class gift and I ordered it from a catalogue.

Re: What was your first card?

For me it was a BOA Secured Card. I had to call in and verify identity for it to graduate. This was because I moved so much.

Re: What was your first card?

My first was the bofa travel rewards card in my signature.

It started off in 2008 as a bofa student platinum plus with a $700 limit.

Capital One. Started off at $500 and slowly got small increases. I still have the account but did a PC to the Venture One and CL is currently at $5,000.
