What would I qualify for?

Hey Guys,

I just pulled my Equifax Fico and the score is 747, not too shabby, eh? I have zero inquiries and my utilization is just 14%.

What would I qualify for?

Re: What would I qualify for?

Well, how long have you had a credit history?  What's your average age of account?  What's your longest account age?  What's your annual household income?  747 is a high score but we need to take into account other factors too.  Also, what credit card are you looking at?

Of course, Hauling just had to ruin it for me. Smiley Mad

Hauling, do you think that is a deal breaker w/ a 747 score?

Hey, now! Smiley Very Happy

How many new accounts do you have in the last six months, and in the last year? How many inquiries on Equifax? These two items might be even more of a factor,

They look at scores, certainly, and yours would be perfect, but we all know about their preference for established history and little recent credit-seeking. But the seven years on the oldest account might be enough.

How long before your AAoA goes to three years? There's a big difference between 2y 2m and 2y 11m. Your luck might be better when it displays 3 years, and you have no new accounts within the last six months.

One option is to go ahead and join now, opening the share (savings) account. Then apply for a card (the plat Visa, I assume), and if you don't get it now, setting up some sort of automatic deposit, $20/ month or whatever. Just keep a relationship going with them, and try again when everything has cooked a while longer.
