When's the next FOTM?

When's the next flavor of the month? The PayPal 2% has been available for a bit now. The NFCU Amex has rolled out, Savor has dropped and Uber is yesterday's news. What is the next card going to be? The new Amex Hiltons? Something else? My brain wants to know!

Did you miss out on the dozens of US Bank Cash+ approvals, complete with 30X CLIs on recon? 

We can't just force a FOTM, it just happens and it didn't work out with Banco do Brasil Americas. BoA Premium Rewards was more like Flavor of the Week; I think those of use who could get the card and wanted it generally grabbed it right away. Someone once suggested that we just pick a random small bank or credit union every month and all the MFers go apping.

Hahahahahahahahaha! That's funny, we're actually looking at a new TV from them. We've been saving a little money for several years now, to get a big TV for the living room.

On other forums the newly reborn FOTM is the 100K Amex Platinum offers if you can find it. No doubt it's the best deal out there. I haven't gotten the cardmatch deal tho. I'd do it in a heartbeat for 100K MRs!

As for TVs...
I haven't owned a TV in 95 months now. Started as a dare/bet with a buddy that my no-TV savings could be $4000 after 24 months. Cancelled my entire cable package including wifi and the useless phone, cancelled Netflix, sold my TVs locally and invested the monthly savings and TV sales. Lost the bet by a few hundred due to the market tanking (ouch).

But...

Been sending the monthly savings payment every month since 2009... Almost to $37,000 in a month less than 8 years including reinvested dividends.

Get a cheap TV and HD antenna and sock the savings away for ten years and report back.

If I want to watch a TV show, I go to the local hotel lobby bar. $2 unlimited seltzer refills and free TV lololol. Plus fun travellers to chat with!
