When should I ask for a product change with US bank?

I have never posted here but regularly lurk these forums and read all the helpful posts.

I recently (2 weeks ago) was approved and recieved the US Bank Cash Rewards card with a limit of 4000. My previous cards are Capital one Quicksilver (2000) and Discover IT (1500) . My current AAoA is rather low around 7 months. and util is <20%.

I really want the US Bank Cash+ card, and am not sure how long to wait before asking for the CLI and the upgrade, anyone have any expreiance with US Bank that can share ?

Also I am getting a temporary gig out of the country for 6 months to a year. What are some of the good credit cards with no foreign transaction fees? My current Discover IT has no FTF but its limited accepted it seems and frankly i am considering keeping that in the SD.

Thanks

From reading past threads I think its at least 1 year before you can ask for a PC and I do believe the Cash+ is by invitation only. I have no info for you on FTFs. welcome to the board Smiley Happy

Your QS is a no FTF card. Others would be Barclay Arrival and Chase also has several. CSP, SWA, Marriott, Hyatt, United to name a few.
