Also I am getting a temporary gig out of the country for 6 months to a year. What are some of the good credit cards with no foreign transaction fees? My current Discover IT has no FTF but its limited accepted it seems and frankly i am considering keeping that in the SD.

From reading past threads I think its at least 1 year before you can ask for a PC and I do believe the Cash+ is by invitation only. I have no info for you on FTFs. welcome to the board

Your QS is a no FTF card. Others would be Barclay Arrival and Chase also has several. CSP, SWA, Marriott, Hyatt, United to name a few.
