When should I reapply?

Hello! So a few weeks ago I applied for the CSP card and was given the 7-10 days, I called and was then denied because they could not justify giving me a 5,000 or more limit. I then explain that I have two other cards over that limit and the slighty rude customer service agent told me there was nothing he could do for me because that is all the computer is telling him. Granted that one of the cards was an Amex everyday was fairly new but had already started reporting, but my NFCU cash rewards has a 10,000 limit on it for almost a year now...

So I guess my question is when should I reapply? Idk how long I should wait so it doesn't look desperate with so many hard pulls on my history.

A little about me: TU score of 740' Experian according to Amex is 753, I have the NFCU cash reward signature visa for 10,000 ; amex everyday for 7,800 ; and the chase disney premier visa for 3,300. I also have an auto loan through NFCU that I've had for 3 years and never missed a payment.

Re: When should I reapply?

Have you tried calling again? Dont just stop at one recon try like 2 more times, and if still declined i think 6 mos. is general rule for a lot of things for credit. So 6 mos or so.

Re: When should I reapply?

Because your accounts are fairly new, I would get some history with them. At least 6 months, and then reapply. Also check the pre-qual for chase frequently. Once the CSP shows up, if that happens prior to the 6 months, then go ahead and apply.

You can also try to recon again.

Re: When should I reapply?

Even if I have had my Chase card for a little over a year already? And if my Navy card is over 3 years old?

Have you checked Chase's pre approval? It looks like your new cards have higher limits, but, prior to applying, was it the case that your then cards had low limits?

EDIT:

I reread your post. Hmmm. What did your credit profile look like when you applied? Util, inquiries, etc
