I applied for an AMEX DSM card last August and was approved with a CL of $1000. I called and had it changed to Blue cash, but did not ask for a CLI. Last month I called and asked for an increase to $5000 and to my surprise, was approved. After reading these forums a bit today, I decided to try my luck with the online CLI and was approved for $10,000. The first couple of months I PIF, and after the CLI's I have been paying about 85% - 90% of the balance each month. I'm planning on asking for another increase to $15k or $20k in about 3 - 6 months, after that I don't think I'll need anymore for awhile.
