Discover More- Opened July '09             After your 6th statement cuts you can request a CLI and expect to be approved.

Kroger 123- Opened- Sept. '09               Same as Discover.

PenFed- Opened Aug. '09  It won't be a CLI. It will be an offer. I took over a year for me to get an unsecured offer from them but was well woth the wait.

AMEX Blue- Opened Aug. '09

Discover More- Opened July '09  I waited almost a year before I exercised the phone CLI option. I don't know exactly when it appeared, however. Once again well worth waiting for.

Citi Platinum Select - Opened July '09  Luv button CLI at six months and nine months. Second 0% BT offer at ten months.

Kroger 123- Opened- Sept. '09

So maybe, I shouldn't request or expect any CLI's until February

Re: When to expect first CLI from each card?

Look for the luv button on your Citi card. As for the Penfed card if you want a CLI you are going to have to apply via the website or over the phone. Be prepared to be asked for further income info. I would wait at least 6 months maybe a year.

With PenFed I would either hit 'em within the first 60 to 90 days of the original app to pick up whatever crumbs may have been left on the table or wait up to15 months from opening for a unsecured offer. In my case I did both with positive results each time.
