I was approved for a Cap One Quicksilver One in November. It is enrolled in credit steps. I believe I've read where you should request a CLI prior to credit steps increase. When should I do that?
I believe it is best to attempt an cli a few days after your 3rd statement cuts.
I dont think capital one tracks days the same way as Amex, at least it doesn't seem that way to me when I hit the button.
I have read to try it after the 3rd statement cuts...good luck!! Keep in mind that you should still receive your credit steps increase also if successful.

How does Amex track days?
First statements cut for me at different times (one after 15 days, another after 40) but both received first CLIs between 60 and 70 days.
Thankfully it won't hurt you if you try too soon; it will be just a SP and you can every day of the week until it pops up if you like

Amex is very specific in when you can request a CLI. Not before 61 days after account opening then not before 91 days if denied and 181 days if approved. Capital one is more about the date on the calender. Due to changing payment date I had a long cycle so my 12th statement will cut tonight but I recieved my one year CLI's on Wednesday.
