I got my Chase Amazon Visa a few months back with an embarrasing CL of $500. I've probably run close to $3,000 through it, charging it up and paying it off two to three times a month. My 5th statement cuts on 7/14. My scores are about 100 higher than they were when I got the card. When is the right time to request a CLI? What are my chances of getting auto luv after 6 months?
If possible (look up recent Chase app policies), its better to apply for a new card and move some of the limit over. The CLIs are HPs and sometimes they don't yield big results. My personal experience after showing good usage were auto-clis after 6th statement cut.
My experience is get a new card and move CL... if you don't want another card AT ALL apply for Marriott because of the higher CL's they seem to issue and instantly move the entire line over to amazon and close marriott.
If you are interested in possibly another card I suggest AARP if you eat out at all!!! my go to card and also a co-branded so issues higher CL's.
I applied for a CLI on my 3rd chase card and was declined but since then in about a 3-4 month time frame I got approved for 2 new chase cards (Ritz $10k, and Zappos $5k) but was denied anything on my cli with AARP!!! they don't seem to like giving out cli's but new cards for sure!

Tbh that is dated now with chase's new policy of not having to many new accounts to open a card. I wouldn't waste a new account for the sake of CLI when down the line perhaps you want another chase card.

There's no fixed timeframe aside from whatever policies a creditor may have on CLI request eligiblity. The time to request is either when you have the headroom for a CLI or your credit has sufficiently improved.
As for Chase auto CLI's -- no telling. Some never get them. Some do. I've never received one. My wife has received several. YMMV and we can't tell you your odds.

It's not a matter of date. One always has to consider all these things as well as one's own preferences, goals, priorities, etc. Two people can certainly reach entirely different conclusions with that information in hand. "I wouldn't" != "no one would".

My zappos (5th Chase Card) was approved just weeks ago with over 40 accounts in last 24 months, 90+ EX inquiries... I have not heard of this new "rule" outside the few people here who have been told no

From what I read the "new rule" is only for Freedom/CSP/Slate, all other Chase cards don't have the 5cards/2years rule.

It does apply only to the non co branded cards but the new policy has been reported many places, not just here :-)

Then why people keep applying for them!
Co-branded give higher limits anyway!!!
I know! I only have Freedom and my next Chase bank will be IHG and/or AARP.
It makes no sense to apply for CSP/Slate if you want to transfer some limit to Freedom.
