Where to go from here

Trying to make the transition from building cards to prime. Wanting to get away from the low limit cards. This is what I have currently: Barclaycard rewards 3500 Amex gold premier rewards charge Cap one orbitz 750 Cap one 520 (old HSBC plat) Capital one plat 800 First premier 700 Care credit 4100 (co signer) Kay 5100 Best buy rzmc 300 My equifax fico is 665 One late 2 year 2 months ago, then got to go back 4+ years for one 3-4 inq What do I close? what should I apply for?

Do what it takes to get your score over 700 before applying for anything.  You are likely still in the range of low limits when approved with a high percentage of application rejections.  Lower your utilization, let your accounts (and baddies) age a bit. Pay all of your bills on time.  the only thing I would immediately close (without applying for anything new) is First Premier.

Yeah was planning on for sure closing the first premier and rzmc too. I've been putting on average 3k through my Amex each month, you think that'll help in getting an Amex credit card? That cards almost two years old now.

It might, because you have a history with them.  But to maximize the CL they would give you, I'd give it more time to try and get to 700 or better.  if your cards are working for you now, waiting a little longer and getting your score up will probably help a lot.
