np glad to help!

The Discover IT and Citi Forward are both really good cards as well.

Only downside for the Discover card is that they're not as widely accepted as Mastercard and Visa are. The downside for Citi forward is that Citi might be converting users to the Thank You card soon.

Why do you say they are converting to the thank you card soon? If I apply and am approved for the forward card are they even allowed to change the agreement and switch the terms of the card I appl

Re: Which CC's for me?

Yes, the Forward is a nice card. I wish I were still a student! For optimal scoring, have 1 cc reporting a balance. Your util is the combined balances reporting not the limits.

Okay, so if I have 3 credit cards with their limits totalling $5,000, I would only want one card per month reporting with a max of $500 correct? Even if 500$ that specific card has a $1200 limit, it goes towards the total limit of all my cards? Also, does it matter if I use the same card reporting a balance every time or should I switch it up every month? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I am doing everything right lol

Re: Which CC's for me?

I'm not trying to be fun, rude or anything but what in the world does these banks mean when they advertise student cards? I never understood why the word student is attached to the accounts. It always sound so strange.

Why dont' they have a graduate card or a senior citizen's card? lol

Please educate me.
