Which CC to apply for...?

I'm considering applying for another credit card... I have an Orchard Bank secured card w/ a $200 limit and $41 balance and am an AU on my stepmom's card with $1250 balance on $18k limit. My EX score is the only one over 600 (it's around 660, I believe.) I have one collection that will be two years old in July. That was one of the reasons I was denied for the AMEX card at the beginning of January. I have 6 INQs on my EX report.

Does anyone know of a CC that pulls only EX, is ok w/ CS of 660, 6 INQs and a collection within the last two years? I am in Oklahoma if that makes a difference. I would wait until July, but I need some funds available now and am willing to take a temporary hit to my credit for it. Thanks!

ETA: I checked whogavemecredit.com, but I am particularly concerned about the collection and it's hard to find info on that aspect.

Re: Which CC to apply for...?

Tracy try talking to a credit union about the cc and your school bill problem at the same time. Explain everything and see if you are disqualified before they actually do a hard inquiry. If they turn you down try another credit union. Also offer to open an account there and have funds automatically transfered to pay the cc and the other problem every month. It might give you a break on interest or even help you qualify.

Re: Which CC to apply for...?

I'm definitely going to look into the credit union. I already began filling out my application for one that I've been referred to by several people. Monday morning I'm going to go to the social security office to get a new card and then I'll go talk to the CU. I'm just trying to check out several different options in case that doesn't work. I do also need more TLs on my report, so I thought ultimately I might be killing two birds with one stone. I'm somewhat obsessed with finding a way out of this problem... :-)

No problem with all the questions. Just don't forget that if you change your last name when you get married you will need a new social security card with your new name on it. You will also have to change your drivers license and update your credit reports and cc's. That way all the good new info that you will be adding to your crpt will stay with you.
