Elan is US Bank. That's my reasoning for passing.

Look, I get that my criteria are not the norm here on this forum. I am not seeking some magic unicorn card. I'm just seeking suggestions that meet my weird criteria. You may not agree with my criteria, but that is not a requirement to offer a suggestion.

It really has nothing to do with "this forum". Your "weird criteria" is some magic unicorn card.
You are going to get extremely few (no?) suggestions for that criteria, because it is an extremely rare bird even without the preclusion of the Big 5 as named.
I do have a couple of lesser known cards that came to mind, but they are precluded because Mastercard and FTF.
I still stick by my very first post. Go get an AOD or wait-list for Robinhood. Neither are your excluded "big banks", both are Visa, no AF on AOD (requirement of a yearly subscription for Robinhood, but one that could prove useful) or FTF, and you'd get 3% on everything, not just Utilities... which makes them better than a card that gives you 3% on a specific category only and single purpose (and 3% is really the best you can hope for given your limitations). Yes, there's a spend cap on AOD now, but 🤷♀️ you want a magical unicorn it's gonna come with some caveats.

Not really sure what either of these options are. What is AOD? I thought Robinhood was like a stock exchange thing.

The recent forum thread about the rerelease of the AOD 3% card
@Anonymous
Got it. Looks like a nice card, as does the Redstone. But I don't think I am eligible to join those CUs.
Right now it looks like the Venmo Visa might be my best bet. I don't plan to carry this card, just use it for monthly utilities. My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe, so I'll probably leave my BCP home and take the Visa. That would give me three cards with no FTF and two separate platforms with the C1 cards being Mastercard.
3% probably the best I can get given my constraints.

While Redstone is now locked to TN and AL residents, there are well known workarounds for AOD. So yes, you're likely eligible.
For Robinhood, here's the thread:
