Really? That's good to know. I have often heard the opposite with credit cards in general, that bad credit is better than none at all. Just have to find something with a low limit so he doesn't get tempted & carried away. Seems a lot out there have high interest rates & (low) annual fees. Got a couple of options so far. I wonder if it would be easier to get him a Walmart card instead.
(Yes, I want him to learn to PIF, but until he does, he doesn't need to be paying 20+% interest.)
